Everything you submit travels over HTTPS and is stored encrypted. Industry-standard encryption protects your data end-to-end.
We don't sell your information to ad networks or unrelated third parties. Your data is only shared with the funding partner you're matched with.
Applying with Thunder is a soft inquiry only. A hard credit pull only happens if you accept an offer — and only by the lender funding the deal.
Internally, your application is visible only to the people working on your match. We don't share it more broadly.
What we collect
When you apply, we ask for the basics: your business name, contact info, monthly revenue range, time in business, industry, state, and how much funding you need.
We don't collect your Social Security number, date of birth, bank statements, or tax returns. If you accept a funding offer, the lender funding the deal may ask for those at the underwriting stage — that information goes directly to them, not to us.
